MOVEMENT MILESTONES EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY

Empowering movement.

A purple, round, cartoon face with black eyes, a small nose, a smiling mouth, and orange cheeks.

At Movement Milestones EP, we work with children and young people who have autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, physical disabilities, and other complex needs. Emma Yallamas, our accredited exercise physiologist, comes to you. Whether that’s your backyard pool, a community aquatic centre, or your home, sessions are built around your child’s goals and delivered on their terms.

This is not learn-to-swim. This is not a sports class. This is evidence-based, goal-directed exercise physiology that meets your child where they are and moves with them toward where they’re going.

WHY GOAL CENTRED THERAPY

Therapy that moves with your child’s goals, not against them.

Goal-directed therapy means that every session has a purpose. Not just ticking boxes for a funding plan, but working toward the specific things that matter to your child and your family.

  • Maybe it's joining the kids next door for a swim.
  • Maybe it's riding a bike for the first time.
  • Maybe it's simply feeling more confident in the water.

Emma builds every session around those goals. That means active participation, real-world practice, and therapy that your child actually wants to show up for.

MEET EMMA

Emma Yallamas, Accredited Exercise Physiologist.

Emma spent four years working with children and adults in private clinic settings before starting Movement Milestones EP in 2025. She built this practice because she wanted to do things differently: more time with each child, more flexibility in how and where sessions happen, and a genuine focus on what the child and family actually care about.

She works across Brisbane with a focus on paediatric aquatic therapy and mobile Exercise Physiology services.

A young girl in a pink dolphin-printed swimsuit is at the edge of a swimming pool, reaching out to a woman in a red shirt and white cap who is standing in the pool. The woman appears to be helping or teaching the girl. The background has cartoon water-themed murals, including a purple fish with a big smile and a smaller fish.
