Movement built for
the kids who
need it most.
Movement Milestones EP started because Emma kept seeing the same problem. Children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, and complex needs who needed specialised aquatic or movement support, but could not access it through a standard group class or clinic model. So she built a practice that could reach them differently.
MEET EMMA
Why Emma does this work
Emma Yallamas is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) with a background in paediatric and adult Exercise Physiology across both clinical and community settings. She spent a number of years working in private practice before deciding to take her skills mobile.
The reason was simple. She wanted to spend more time doing the clinical work she cared about, with the children and families who needed it most. She wanted flexibility to come to them, to work in their pools, their backyards, their community spaces. And, she wanted to build a practice that was genuinely goal-centred, not just billing-centred.
Movement Milestones Exercise Physiology launched in September 2025. Since then, Emma has built a caseload of children with ASD, developmental delay, and physical disabilities across Brisbane, supported by referral networks through Autism Swim and word of mouth from families who have seen what goal-directed aquatic therapy can do.

OUR APPROACH
A note on how we work.
Every session at Movement Milestones EP is participation-based, goal-directed, and built around what the child wants to work toward and what their family cares about most.
Emma works with parents throughout every session. She communicates clearly about how funding is structured, what the different NDIS rates mean, and what families can expect.
